The Roles
We're on the hunt for two managers to join our established team at The Shorehouse. The positions would be best suited to experienced supervisors and duty managers, or Assistant Restaurant Managers, with experience in high volume venues. You will play a pivotal role in assisting with the seamless operation of the restaurant. You'll assist the Venue Manager in leading a team of dedicated staff, upholding our high standards of service, and contributing to the continued success of the venue. Your responsibilities will include:
* Develop, motivate and train a large, diverse team to deliver top-notch service
* Maintaining high standards of service and positive work environment
* Opening and/or closing of the venue
* Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
* Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
* Attending management briefings and meetings as required
* Assist with stock management including monthly stocktake
* Management of labour on shift
What we're looking for?
* Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role, ideally in a high-volume venue
* Understanding of food and market trends with strong wine knowledge
* Sound understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes and willingness to learn
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
* Approved Manager's Card
* Experience with OrderMate, SevenRooms and Deputy will be highly regarded
* No extended periods of leave from October to April
* Sponsorship is not available at the moment - must have working rights beyond 2025
