As a Counsellor, you will provide therapeutic support and education to individuals who use family violence, as well as counselling and liaison services to their partners or ex-partners.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapeutic support and education to individuals using family violence.
* Provide counselling and liaison services to their partners or ex-partners.
* Facilitate educational workshops and group sessions.
* Collaborate with external agencies.
* Work towards achieving program goals.
Requirements
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent tertiary qualification recognised for delivering therapeutic counselling services.
* Demonstrated experience in providing counselling, case management, and support services, particularly in relation to family violence.
* Proven skills in psychoeducation, trauma-informed counselling, and general counselling.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills, capable of working with clients from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
