What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Manager, Warehouse Operations, this role is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials to all venues for the State Election in 2026. You'll play a key part in supporting the organisation's election readiness and contributing to the success of the State Election in 2026. Your responsibilities will include:
* Accurately record all inwards and outwards inventory movements.
* Assist with servicing and maintenance of returned stock.
* Assist in the preparation and supply of election material to election offices, support locations, stakeholders and Head Office as directed.
* Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles (manually and by forklift).
* Assist with the receipt, sorting, and storage of election materials from major electoral events.
* Assist with the annual stock take, be capable of compiling accurate counts of all stock items stored at the warehouse.
* Ensure compliance with the VEC's Chain of Responsibility (COR) policy.
* Provide operational support at various sites throughout the delivery period for the 2026 State Election.
What you will bring to the role

* Technical expertise
* Experience in picking, packing, and preparing consignments for dispatch in a mission-critical environment.
* Experience in delivering consignments using a 1-tonne vehicle.
* Key skills and abilities
* Ability and willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to corporate objectives.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to multitask and work within a team environment.
* Qualifications
* A forklift driver's licence (mandatory), with high reach experience preferred.
* A current driver's licence (mandatory).
During the delivery period for the 2026 State Election, overtime and weekend work may be required, and you will be compensated appropriately for this.
