At SC Johnson Australia & New Zealand, Shopper and Trade Marketing are the critical link between Brand, Category and Sales to ensure a coordinated approach to our Go To Market (GTM) Strategy.
Playing across all our key categories, you\'ll develop and own the channel strategy, shopper activations and retailer trade narratives for Australia, to win the consumer and shopper.
About the role
As the Associate Manager for Customer Marketing (as it's referred to internally) you will:
* Exclusively lead and manage all SCJ brands and retail partnerships across instore and online channels
* In collaboration with Brand, create and manage a robust activation calendar across all categories
* Take ownership to develop and analyse channel strategy, strategic planning, shopper communications and activations
* Champion the voice of the Brand, Strategy and all NPD to retailer partners
* Develop and present retailer trade narratives and Range Reviews to the AU retailer partners, ensuring buy-in, strategic alignment and maximum return on investment
* Identify priority channels to activate brand plans
* Work with the category and sales teams to identify winning tactics to deploy in these channels, as part of our MAPP strategy implementation (Merchandising, Assortment, Price and Promotion).
* Ability to translate these data driven insights into creative and executable activations and analytic reviews
* Execute strong project management skills and deliver multiple project outcomes concurrently
About You
You will need to:
* Have outstanding communication, organisation and cross functional relationship skills
* A deep understanding of customer needs - ability to create profitable winning customer propositions and have these translate to winning customer plans
* Be self-managed, self-motivated and work at pace as the standalone member of the Customer Marketing team
* Let your expertise in commercialising activation initiatives shine
* Understand the strategic & tactical nature of business (financial & commercial acumen)
What You'll Bring
* Strong commercial experience in Shopper, Trade or Customer Marketing within FMCG or a Household Care company
* Ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Category, Brand and Finance
* Demonstrated experience and comfortability presenting to customers and stakeholders
* Budget management, ensuring maximum return on investment in line with strategy
* Plan, implement and review shopper activations to gain learnings, sharing insights internally and with the Global business
* Be able to work flexibly from our Lane Cove office and be an Australian Perm Resident or Citizen.
