**About the Role**
The Residential Care and Services Manager will be expected to ensure the Facility maintains a high-quality level of consumer centred care and services for their customers and stakeholders across all aspects by focusing on the consumer's whole person's well-being experience, while partnering with consumers to provide the best possible care and services to meet the consumer's choices, needs and preferences. The Residential Care and Services Manager will provide leadership to their local team enabling and influencing them to perform at their best within the organisation's business and value framework.
**About You**
You will have previous experience and proven ability to lead a team of staff and maximise outcomes in performance and Resident care. With outstanding communication skills, you will promote a consumer focussed service - internally and externally - and be confident in leading individuals to be successful in their given role.
Together with your commercial acumen and budgeting experience, you will be required to contribute to continuous improvement activities to support the growth and consistent uplift of the services offered.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following:
- Significant management experience in an aged or health care setting
- Experience working within the Aged Care legislative framework, including Compulsory Reporting requirements and the Aged Care Complaints Scheme or similar
- Experience working with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation Frameworks and requirements or similar
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI), including its impact on business outcomes and a sound understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- A passion for providing high quality service and continuous improvement to achieve results
- Current registration as a Registered (Division 1) Nurse with AHPRA (highly regarded but not essential)
- Specialist knowledge or postgraduate qualifications in health management, business administration or similar (desirable)
