Senior Tax Advisor / ASX-Listed Business / $170,000 - $190,000 / Bonus / Flexible Working
Core Talent are supporting a large ASX listed Business with their search for a skilled Senior Tax Professional. The successful individual will play a senior technical leadership role within the Group Tax function. This role will act as a key advisor to the business on complex Australian and international tax matters, supporting strategic initiatives, and ongoing operational activities. The role is suited to a highly technical tax professional with strong commercial judgement and experience operating in a complex, fast-paced environment,
Key skills will include:
* Advise on income tax and international tax matters across the Group
* Provide advice on complex tax issues
* Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Legal, Projects and Operations to provide commercially pragmatic tax advice
* Proactively identify tax risks and opportunities
* Support management in maintaining a strong tax governance framework consistent with ASX, ATO and Board expectations
* Oversee preparation and review of complex tax disclosures and positions for financial reporting purposes
* Act as a key point of contact with external advisors, including Big 4 firms and legal advisors
* Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes, documentation, and technical capability
Key experience:
* Experience in corporate tax, ideally Big 4 / top-tier advisory / in-house
* Deep technical expertise in Australian corporate tax
* Confident communicator with credibility at senior management level
* Experience operating in a large, complex, fast-paced organisation
* High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a senior leadership team
