Bar-Tech Automation is a Brisbane-based, well-established Independent building automation company. We have been in business for over 30 years and work on some of Brisbane's largest and most complex building automation systems.
About the role
If you want to run your own day and develop relationships with customers, we are looking for YOU. You need to have a trade certificate in either Electrical or Refrigeration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and be keen to move into a role that is focused on automation. The role will entail working primarily on a laptop, troubleshooting automation issues, and ensuring the plant and equipment work optimally. You will work directly with customers, creating relationships and managing your work.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in electrical or refrigeration trades with a valid trade certificate.
This position is open to Australian citizens only.

Skills and experience
If you are ready for a career change into Building Automation from on-the-tools, Electrical, or Refrigeration work, we would love to talk to you. Alternatively, if you are already in the industry and seeking a change, we believe we offer a great place to work and grow. We will be encouraged by experience within the Building Automation Industry, i.e., Tridium, EasyIO, Lon, Modbus, and BACnet.
Basic exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) is required for this position.
