Support nurses and midwives to deliver safe, confident care across Warwick and Stanthorpe. As a Clinical Facilitator, you'll guide capability development at the point of practice, strengthen clinical quality, and help rural teams grow. Join a collaborative education service where your leadership shapes better outcomes for clinicians, patients and communities.
What your day could look like
As Clinical Facilitator – Rural Generalist, you'll play a key role in lifting clinical standards and strengthening confidence across rural settings. You'll work alongside educators, nurse leaders and multidisciplinary teams to grow capability, embed safe practice and ensure patients receive high‑quality care close to home.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
* Coaching nurses and midwives through real‑time learning that builds clinical judgement and ensures safe, consistent care
* Delivering targeted education and development plans that address skill needs and support staff at every stage of learning
* Driving improvements in quality and safety by promoting evidence‑based practice and strengthening assessment, review and feedback processes
* Modelling collaborative leadership and supporting teams to navigate complex situations with clarity, compassion and confidence
Let's talk about you
You're someone who brings both capability and heart to your work. You think critically, act with integrity and know how to guide others through challenge and change. You take pride in helping clinicians grow—from early learners to confident practitioners—and you value the unique impact rural health services make every day.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse and a strong foundation in contemporary, evidence‑based practice
* Skill in mentoring, capability building and constructive clinical feedback
* Experience leading improvements in care quality, safety or education within multidisciplinary environments
* A valid driver licence and willingness to travel across rural sites
You'll stand out if you bring rural experience or postgraduate study in clinical education.
Most importantly, you bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—qualities that shape how care is delivered and how teams grow.
In this role, your leadership strengthens practice, builds confidence and enhances the care rural communities rely on.
