Job Description

Are you an iOS development rockstar ready to take the lead in Melbourne, Australia? We're seeking a talented and experienced iOS Tech Lead to guide our high-performing squad. In this pivotal role, you'll be the technical voice, partnering with major organizations to turn their requirements into polished, high-performance apps.

* Architect scalable and maintainable iOS app solutions using Swift and industry-standard design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
* Lead and mentor a team of iOS developers, conducting code reviews, unblocking team members, and ensuring timely delivery
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps
* Champion best practices in software development, including unit testing (XCTest), UI testing, and CI/CD automation (Jenkins/Bitrise)
* Ensure adherence to security protocols, performance standards, and quality assurance measures for enterprise-level apps
* Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies and trends, fostering innovation within the team


Qualifications

* Proven expertise in iOS app development with Swift and Objective-C
* Extensive experience delivering enterprise-level iOS apps in large‑scale environments
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring iOS development teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and manage client expectations
* Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery‑focused mindset
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills to navigate complex technical challenges
* Attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
* Understanding of security protocols and legacy system integration for mission‑critical apps
* Ability to stay organized and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
