We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operational Technology & Engineering Manager to provide specialist advice, direction and guidance on the observing infrastructure architecture and equipment.
This is a key leadership position within the Observing Systems and Operations Program. The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing capability, strategy and methods for providing the required observations for our services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse team of specialists responsible for the development and design of engineering and technological solutions.
* Engage with industry and stakeholders to continuously improve our observations infrastructure.
* Work closely with related teams in Infrastructure Development and the National Operations of the Observing Systems and Operations Program.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in engineering planning and delivery. They will also have advanced stakeholder management capabilities, a high level of management skill together with the ability to distil significant issues from complex material so as to develop workable solutions to problems.
