As Data Modeller, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of effective data models across the organisation. You will work with a team of skilled data modellers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop logical and physical data models based on business requirements.
- Define data structures, naming standards, and conventions
- Ensure data models support the organization's data governance and security requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather modelling requirements and options for refinement
- Seek opportunities to improve models to increase performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Ensure data models support the organization's data governance and security requirements
- Create reporting models tailored for end-user consumption and self-service
- Self-manage the delivery of your work, communicate progress and proactively address dependencies and blockers
**You will bring**:
- +3 years' experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Diploma/Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or similar quantitative field
- Demonstrated proficiency in translating business and data requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Experience in implementing Kimball Architecture
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience in implementing data models in databases
- Experience in cloud-based environments (preferably Snowflake and Azure)
- Experience extracting insights from sales or financial data
- Thorough understanding of business processes, particularly sales & marketing processes
