Responsibilities
Play a key role in developing innovative software solutions for astronomical data processing.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, regionally dispersed research team.
Contribute to the global SKA Regional Centre Network and national radio astronomy projects.
About you
Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Have experience developing Machine Learning or AI solutions.
Bring strong expertise in distributed or enterprise software development.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Have experience in astronomy or other computation-focused science domains.
Special Requirements
Occasional intrastate, interstate, and international travel may be required.
Flexibility to work across time zones and outside standard hours for meetings.
