THE OPPORTUNITY - WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE, LEAD & GROW
- Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this newly created Hospital Specialist Sales Representative position, is responsible for the business performance of one very well known, iconic pharmaceutical product in WA & SA.
- The role is responsible for delivering on sales within hospitals, in Perth/WA & Adelaide/SA. You can be based in either state in Perth metro or Adelaide metro, however, you will need to travel a few times a month to the state you don't live in to ensure coverage of public & private hospital customers.
- Your specialist clinician customers will be ED nurses and physicians, haematologists, interventional radiologists, urologists, burns specialists, obstetricians, gynaecologists and also the stakeholders who influence hospital formulary decisions, eg. Directors of Pharmacy, NUM's, pain consultants, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE ROLE
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Science, Nursing, Business or a related discipline.
- Ideally 3-5 years hospital sales experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry with experience securing products onto hospital formulary.
- Energy, drive, commercial orientation and a patient-solutions focus, with a curious mind and intellect.
- Collaborative and agile in relation to being able to adapt and support your team where necessary.
- Must be familiar with territory planning/activity call plans and related KPIs.
