We are partnering with Bridgestone to seek an experienced Credit/Collections Manager for one of Australia and New Zealand's most trusted brands.

Bridgestone is seeking an experienced Manager, Credit & Collections to drive credit strategy, strengthen people capability, and ensure best‑practice receivables management across their diverse Group of businesses.

About the Role:

As the Manager, Credit & Collection, you'll oversee Credit and Accounts Receivable operations across the Bridgestone Group.

This is a leadership role with real impact — you'll guide a dedicated credit team, build strong cross‑functional relationships, and ensure the protection of company investments through sound credit management and robust reporting.

* Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing credit team through guidance, mentoring and clear expectations.
* Build a culture of respect, accountability, continuous improvement and open communication.
* Manage end‑to‑end credit and AR processes across all business units.
* Partner with sales teams to manage customer accounts and debt exposure.
* Maintain & develop robust credit policies and risk controls.
* Oversee aged debtors, dispute resolution and timely collection outcomes.
* Approve credit applications and monitor credit risk.
* Manage accounts requiring legal recovery or external collection support.
* Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including travel for negotiations.
* Establish & safeguard securities provided by customers
* Deliver accurate and timely credit and AR reporting for the Group.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports including DSO, bad debt provisioning and write‑offs.
* Conduct credit limit reviews
* Provide detailed account status reporting to sales channels and senior leadership.
* Compliance reporting
* Use data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
* Drive process improvements and implement best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Ideally Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
* Certifications in Credit Management
* 5–7 years' experience in credit management or AR
* Proven success managing credit risk and collections at a national or group level.
* Experience leading and developing credit teams.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), advanced Excel, Ideal if Onguard and Power BI experience
* Strong understanding of credit risk, securities management and compliance.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
