What y ou’ll b e d oing: Collaborating in a team of six Nurse Unit Managers across Queensland, driving excellence in clinical service planning and management Engaging with referring clinicians and services to streamline patient pathways and promote our radiation therapy offerings Set SMART performance goals with your team and provide the leadership and support needed to achieve them Participating in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff, helping build a high-performing team Partnering with marketing and liaison teams to support education and awareness campaigns Lead and contribute to project initiatives, including participation in strategic project groups Enjoy two dedicated administrative days each week to focus, plan, and recharge Support staff in education, research, and professional development opportunities Confidently navigate our electronic clinical prescribing system Collaborate with Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Nurses, and Allied Health teams to foster a strong team culture and deliver coordinated, high-quality care Be part of a supportive leadership team that values your expertise and empowers you to make a meaningful impact Promote a workplace culture where connection, support, and shared purpose are central to daily practice Requirements for the role: Essential: Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA Proven leadership experience with a strong ability to manage people and drive team performance Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy for patients and their carers Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including the NSQHS Passion for delivering high-quality patient care Ability to create an environment that nurtures staff potential Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications or experience in management or healthcare administration.
