Hop & Learn supports clients with various funding options, including NDIS (Self-managed or Plan-managed), Private Health, and Medicare programs such as the Mental Health Care Plan or Enhanced Primary Care Plan. The team's mission is to help children reach their full potential through tailored and compassionate care.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist located in West Melbourne, VIC. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to children with communication disorders, speech challenges, language delays, and other related areas such as dysphagia. The role involves closely collaborating with families and other professionals, developing individualized care plans, and monitoring progress. Administrative tasks related to therapy documentation and reporting will also be required.This role involved 4 days clients, 1 day work from home to review AHA plans and reports.Qualifications Proficiency in Speech Therapy, with a strong foundation in addressing Speech and Language DisordersExperience in working with young clients with Communication Disorders and DysphagiaAbility to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and professionalsValid Speech Pathology Australia membership and professional certification in Speech TherapyUnderstanding of NDIS processes and other funding mechanisms like Medicare and Private Health, preferredCompassionate and patient-centered approach to care
