The Role: Maintain village grounds in a neat and tidy condition Perform general gardening tasks, including weeding, mowing lawns, and pruning trees Operate and maintain gardening equipment effectively Empty and clean village rubbish bins regularly Undertake minor maintenance duties as needed Able to handle extra tasks as needed Ability to work independently without supervision Availability to work on a 14/7 roster cycle (14 days on, 7 days off). Willing to work 10-hour shifts each day Maintain a strict health and hygiene standards and systems Ability to travel in/out from site at own expense We’re looking for candidates with: A current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 is highly desirable At least 1 year experience working in a remote mine-site village or workforce camps Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Ability to work autonomously Friendly and considerate attitude to promote a positive work environment To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain: Must have an Open Australian Driver's Licence / Manual C Class (pref. Manual & must be any Australian State) - International licence is not accepted Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen Have a recent National Police Check (within 1 month) Unrestricted work rights in Australia SIRROM, a trusted industry leader and provider with 50 years in Life Support and Facilities Management.
