Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.
The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.
Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.
This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of systems engineering processes and systems assurance activities across the project. This role ensures that project requirements are captured, traced, verified, and validated, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain technical integrity and ensure compliance with assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the development of the SEMP and SAP.
* Facilitating requirements workshops and ensuring full traceability through to V&V.
* Assisting with configuration, change, and interface management.
* Coordinating RAMS assessments and liaising with Independent Safety Assessors.
* Maintaining accurate engineering and assurance documentation.
* Supporting the preparation of technical reports, ICDs, and V&V deliverables.
* Acting as a central point of contact across engineering disciplines.
* Coordinating meetings, tracking progress, and escalating risks as needed.
* Interface coordination with internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
* Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle (ISO/IEC 15288) and assurance principles.
* Proven ability to manage or support complex documentation processes.
* Demonstrated collaborative skills across diverse technical teams and interface management.
* Experience on major transport, infrastructure, or defence projects.
* Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
* Exposure to safety and risk management practices in regulated industries.
* Understanding of government and client-side project delivery frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Systems Engineering, Engineering (any discipline), Project Management, or related field.
* Proven experience in a similar systems engineering, systems assurance, or technical coordination role.
* Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle (ISO/IEC 15288) and assurance principles
* Proven experience in managing or supporting complex documentation processes.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical teams and manage interfaces.
