Business Development Manager – Switchboard Channel
Location: Brisbane
We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving growth across the Switchboard Builder channel, promoting Schneider Electric's innovative products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote Schneider Electric's portfolio of products and solutions to key switchboard manufacturers
* Drive revenue growth while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
* Identify, capture, and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships
* Increase market penetration by delivering complete Schneider Electric solutions across all business units
* Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen channel engagement and alignment
* Partner with switchboard builders to optimise designs and demonstrate the value of Schneider Electric's digital tools, services, and technologie
About You
You are a passionate and results-oriented sales professional who thrives in an innovative and fast-paced environment. You enjoy building strong relationships and are driven to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven track record of sales success within the switchboard manufacturing or low-voltage (LV) electrical channel
* Experience working with electrical consultants, EPCs, or major contractors (highly regarded)
* Technical or trade qualification in electrical or related fields (advantageous)
* Strong understanding of local market trends, specification channels, and industry drivers
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective business relationships
* Strong organisational, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
* High level of computer literacy and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
