Job Purpose

To achieve maximum revenue by selling effective solutions to clients' needs. To present the Kinesis portfolio of products and their benefits to a defined range of customers using email, telephone, and occasional face-to-face meetings.


Qualification/Experience

* Team player, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines and to work effectively under pressure.
* Ability to identify, question and solve enquiries and customer-related problems.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Familiarity or ability to learn CRM and Quoting software systems used by the team.
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to legally work in Australia.


Reporting Relationships

Reporting to the Sales Team Leader who in turn reports to the Sales Director.


Job Scope

The post holder will work as part of a team under the direction of the Sales Director. They will, however, be expected to manage their customers and territory with a reasonable degree of autonomy.

The post holder will be accountable for their individual sales and call targets pre-determined by the Sales Director.

Duties involve selling the benefits of using Kinesis products to existing and new customers using negotiation skills and the ability to present features effectively.

The role entails cultivating and maintaining excellent business relationships with existing and potential customers and actively seeking new business opportunities.


Main Responsibilities

* To establish excellent customer relationships and provide a high standard of service to customers (both internal and external) in accordance with company policy.
* To maintain and develop successful relationships with existing customers via telephone and e-mail.
* To identify and make effective contact with potential customers and to prospect for new business.
* To follow up on all marketing campaigns with existing and new customers.
* To meet or exceed agreed sales targets by sustaining the current level of business with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities in order to increase levels of business activity and revenue.
* To convert irregular business to regular sales and cross-sell into other revenue centres.
* To maintain margins set by the Sales Director.
* To ensure that all records (manual or electronic) are kept up-to-date and accurate.
* To keep personal skills and knowledge up-to-date (i.e. product knowledge, accounts processes, CRM knowledge, competitive products, industry etc.) and to attend training when required.
* To ensure that any business expenses are submitted monthly.
* To comply with the company dress code and maintain a smart, business-like appearance at all times.
* To present a supportive, positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the job, the company, and your colleagues at all times.
* To actively promote the benefits of the company and its products and to ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* To contribute to the effective operation of the Redland Bay office. We are a small team, the post holder will be expected to be adaptable and to contribute to other functions as required.


Performance Indicators

The post holder will be required to achieve the following KPI's per week:

* 40 Effective calls
* 15 Quotes
* 4 new business (per month)

These will be reviewed as needed during the course of the year and altered if necessary.


Communication and Working Relationships

The post holder will work as a member of the Sales Department and is required to establish effective working relationships with various departments including Sales Support, Customer service, Stores, Accounts, Marketing, and external distributors.


Health and Safety

All employees must observe and comply with Kinesis policies and procedures for health and safety.
