About The Role Join PPS Group delivering major water, electrical, and infrastructure projects as a Senior Project Engineer. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a high‑performing engineering team. This role is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed plans and schedules that outline scope, timelines, budgets and milestones
Manage project budgets, including developing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and forecasting future costs
Assist in the bidding phase and define project scopes
Act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, contractors, internal and external stakeholders
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
Monitor and report on project progress
About You
Degree‑qualified in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in project engineering within water, mining, or infrastructure projects
Experience delivering EPC/EPCM scopes for clients such as BHP, FMG, or RioTinto
Experience in vendor engagement, procurement, FATs, and technical evaluations
Demonstrated ability to lead Project Engineers and work alongside superintendents
Strong understanding of development, understanding, updating and communicating project schedules
Proven commercial capability, including real‑time variation identification, dayworks management and active budget/forecast understanding
Skilled in technical queries and documentation management
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
