We are seeking an experienced
Structural Engineer
to perform a variety of essential engineering functions, including structural inspections, assessment and reporting of fixed plant assets, balanced machines, and non-process infrastructure. You will also review structural drawings and calculations, and provide design input for minor structural works.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct structural inspections, defect assessments, and reporting across a wide range of site assets.
* Perform structural analysis and design of non-complex structures.
* Review technical drawings and engineering calculations.
* Provide expertise on fixed plant, balanced machines, and supporting infrastructure.
* Support asset management strategies with a strong understanding of operational environments.
* Apply knowledge in geotechnical and civil works to multidisciplinary tasks.
Qualifications And Experience
* Strong background in structural design, analysis, and inspection.
* Solid understanding of mining equipment and fixed plant operations.
* Knowledge of asset management systems, especially as it relates to infrastructure performance.
* Familiarity with geotechnical and civil engineering principles in mining or heavy industry.
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Membership (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia
* Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
* Valid C-Class WA Driver's Licence.
