We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint a commercially astute Senior Management Accountant. This is a high-impact role sitting between Finance and Operations, offering strong exposure to site leadership and the opportunity to genuinely influence performance on the factory floor.
This is not your typical desk-bound accounting role. You'll be a true business partner driving profitability, improving controls, and supporting better decision-making across multiple sites.
The Opportunity
Reporting into a high-performing Finance function, you will act as the key link between Operations and Finance, providing insight across costing, inventory, and manufacturing performance. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across production, procurement, and sales, helping them understand cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with site leaders to deliver insights on performance and operational efficiency
* Develop standard costing models, ensuring accuracy across bills-of-materials (BOMs) and master data
* Analyse and report on inventory, stock movements, and variances
* Support monthly close, including P&L and balance sheet reviews with a focus on manufacturing drivers
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs
* Develop stakeholder engagement, acting as a true business partner
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems, reporting, and operational finance
About You
* Experienced management accountant, preferably within manufacturing
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded)
* Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence outcomes
* CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
* Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
