Production and Quality Assurance Specialist
This role is based in Toowoomba, Queensland, where you will oversee the production and quality control processes. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement robust quality assurance systems and procedures to guarantee product quality and compliance.
* Manage day-to-day production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
* Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Lead a team of production and quality control staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
* Substantial experience (4+ years) in a production or quality control management role within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong technical understanding of production processes, quality control methods, and continuous improvement principles.
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
