With a strong pipeline of projects and innovative products, the business is looking to expand its footprint across the C&I sector in Australia.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong track record in selling industrial battery systems or related energy storage solutions. This is a hands-on role focused on building relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding market presence across the commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business development and manage the full sales cycle for industrial battery solutions within the C&I market.
* Identify, target, and engage key decision-makers across commercial and industrial customers, EPCs, consultants, and developers.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
* Develop tailored proposals and present technical and commercial solutions to customers.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with internal technical, product, and operations teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions to clients.
* Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the energy storage sector.
About You
* Minimum 5+ years' sales experience in the energy, power, or industrial sectors, with a proven track record of selling industrial batteries, UPS systems, or energy storage solutions.
* Strong knowledge of the Australian C&I energy market, with established networks across relevant stakeholders.
* Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently, drive outcomes, and manage multiple opportunities.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred, not essential).
