Multiplant is entering an exciting phase of expansion, with significant growth planned across our Civil & Construction, Bulk & Detailed Earthworks, Dewatering, and maintenance operations.

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HSE Advisor to join our team on a casual basis.

This role will provide essential support to our HSE Leadership and project teams across the business, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.

You will work closely with site personnel, management and other key stakeholders ensuring the safe delivery of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare tender documentation for Health and Safety
* Prepare HSE start up documentation for Projects [as required]
* Assist HSE Lead as required
* Update Document Control documents
* Provide Weekly and Monthly statistical reports for Projects to HSE Lead [Lead and Lag Indicators]
* Support site based HSE Advisors
* Attend adhoc visits to site as required

Site Based Responsibilities

* Support Multiplant health and safety requirements in the field and promote the highest level of safety for our workers on site.
* Support daily health and safety requirements.
* Conduct toolbox, and daily inspections.
* Support Supervision.
* Provide health and safety notifications to discuss at pre-start meetings.
* Liaise with site management and supervision to create risk and hazard register for site.
* Conduct and coordinate health and safety inspections on site.
* Conduct site inductions and training.
* Provide training to workers on the Safety Management Systems and site safety requirements.
* Communicate Health and Safety related matters to HSE Lead and workers.

Your Experience:

* Minimum 2+ years in construction or similar [worked around heavy industry].
* Minimum 2+ years in mining resources.
* Client Inductions: - RTIO, FMG, BHP [exposure to these clients safety management systems].
* Exposure to conducting CRAW workshops.
* Hold Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) or equivalent.
* Valid open and unrestricted drivers' license.
* Construction White Card.
* Competent understanding of current workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia.
* ICAM Lead Investigation qualification.
* Cert IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40122).
* Experience using STEMS (desirable).

Computer skills:

* Intermediate EXCEL, Word, Power Point [developing presentations]
* Outlook
* Teams

* Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to all safety protocols.
