The Opportunity

About You
* You are an experienced lawyer with telecommunications and commercial infrastructure experience
* You have experience negotiating network infrastructure agreements
* You have experience working on Master Service Agreements, General Terms and Condition and order forms
* You have experience working on service provider agreements including professional services agreements, marine maintenance agreements and NOC service agreements
* You have experience working on subsea project documents such as supply contracts, landing agreements, crossing agreements and managed capacity services
* You have experience working on IRU and associated O&M agreements
* You have experience with network infrastructure (terrestrial and/or subsea), which would be a bonus
* You have strong general commercial contracting skills and familiarity with the telecommunications industry
* You are comfortable working with AI contracting and researching tools
* You have the ability to work independently as well as in close collaboration with other lawyers
* You are comfortable identifying issues and collaborating with internal teams such as finance, tax, compliance and external counsel
* You have the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key clients and cross‐functional partners
* You have the ability to provide guidance to the business with respect to approach to issues and partnerships
* You have the ability to provide solid and practical business and legal advice
* You have the ability to drive resolution of legal issues in projects
* You have a minimum of 5 years' experience
* You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
* You have a current practising certificate
* You have the right to live and work in Australia
