The Lorian Group is currently seeking multiple Site Engineers to join a growing civil project team supporting works across regional Queensland. These positions offer FIFO opportunities to Mt Isa or Cloncurry, providing excellent exposure to large-scale projects while working alongside experienced site teams. This opportunity would be ideal for recent engineering graduates ready to start their careers, or junior engineers looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a supportive site environment. The Role Working closely with the Superintendent and Project Supervisors, you will provide technical and project support to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications Preparing and managing RFIs and technical queries Supporting quality assurance processes, including ITPs and QA documentation Assisting with project coordination, progress tracking and reporting Supporting tender preparation and technical documentation Maintaining project documentation and engineering records Providing technical input into risk assessments and safety planning FIFO & Roster These roles offer FIFO options to Mt Isa or Cloncurry, with potential roster patterns including: 8 days on / 6 days off, or 2 weeks on / 1 week off About You Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn on site Strong communication and teamwork skills What’s on Offer Multiple opportunities available to join a growing project team A fantastic entry point into civil construction for graduates Exposure to major regional infrastructure projects FIFO opportunity to Mt Isa or Cloncurry Opportunity to build strong site engineering experience and career progression If you’re a recent graduate or junior engineer ready to kick-start your career in civil construction, we’d love to hear from you.
