Accounts Payable Administrator – Construction | $80k–90k + Super | Brisbane
We’re currently supporting a leading organisation within the construction sector who are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their commercial team. This is a newly created position following a restructure, designed to blend accounts payable expertise with broader administrative support to ensure smooth operations across subcontractor payments and commercial workflows.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting the Contracts Administration team. Responsibilities will include:
- Processing subcontractor payments and purchase orders
- Forecasting and reconciling subcontractor accounts
- Responding to payment and contract-related queries
- Managing data and distributing information packages
- Supporting the Commercial Manager with ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Assisting in the use of Jobpac (prior experience desirable)
This position requires someone who is confident in AP processes but also comfortable stepping into the broader admin space when needed. It would suit someone with solid accounts payable skills who enjoys variety and wants to stay close to the commercial function.
About You
- Strong background in Accounts Payable with the ability to manage end-to-end processes
- Comfortable handling both AP and administrative tasks
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
- Experience within construction or exposure to Jobpac is desirable, but not essential
- Qualified, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
The Offer
- Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 + superannuation
- Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (some flexibility, e.g. 7:30am – 4:00pm)
