The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, supervising and training staff, and managing stock, ordering, and rostering. The Manager will maintain a clean and welcoming environment, work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams, and ensure customers enjoy consistent, high‑quality food and service. Task & responsibilities
* Collaborate with chefs to design menus that align with customer preferences and business goals.
* Plan and oversee special events to ensure efficient service and excellent guest experiences.
* Manage the procurement and pricing of supplies while adhering to budget guidelines.
* Keep accurate documentation of inventory levels and financial transactions.
* Ensure the dining area meets health and safety standards and is clean, well‑maintained, and welcoming.
* Engage with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food quality and service.
* Recruit, train, and supervise both front‑of‑house and kitchen staff to uphold service standards.
* Handle reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order‑taking when needed.
Qualification & experience
* AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related field or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in a related position.
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
* Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, and food safety standards
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
