The Nurse Practitioner is an autonomous and collaborative advanced clinical role within a Drug and Alcohol Service. The role involves assessment, management, diagnostics, prescribing medications, and referrals, providing innovative healthcare that complements other providers.
Key responsibilities include leadership, client care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and service development.
Essential Requirements
* Applicable vaccination requirements
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current AHPRA registration
* Master's degree or working towards it
* Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in drug and alcohol nursing
