We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent, full-time capacity, commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.
At Ravenswood, we are committed to inspiring students both academically and through co-curricular activities. We are looking for a dynamic and engaging classroom teacher who brings creativity and rigor to curriculum delivery and thrives in a professional, collaborative team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated teaching ability in English, including:
* Experience in teaching English to Years 7â10
* An awareness of and ability to teach the new Stage 6 HSC English Advanced or Standard courses, and/or IB English, would be desirable
* The ability to effectively integrate ICT into the classroom
* A strong capacity for differentiating curriculum delivery
* A flexible and collegial approach to teamwork
The ability to teach in an additional Key Learning Area (KLA), such as History or Religious Education, would be considered an advantage and may be required depending on staffing needs.
