* Ongoing Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,720 per annum) opportunity, based in Martin Place, Sydney

About the Role
You will join our Governance team within the Legal branch in the Office of General Counsel group.
As an Advisor, Governance, you will support the delivery of governance operations, policy and project work, including coordinating meeting materials, committee processes and governance activities to ensure compliance with legislative, policy and reporting requirements. You will undertake research and analysis, prepare briefs and reports, contribute to governance projects and support the management of governance systems and documentation.
Working closely with stakeholders across government, you will provide timely and practical advice while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to apply and further develop governance expertise at the centre of government and gain exposure to whole‐of‐government processes.

We're Looking For

* Governance and Policy Support: Experience supporting governance operations, committee processes, policy coordination or project activities, including providing advice and ensuring compliance with legislative, policy or reporting requirements
* Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, provide practical advice and build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders
* Research and Analysis: Ability to undertake research, analyse information and contribute to briefs, reports and governance documentation to support informed decision-making
* Organisation and Prioritisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
* Technology and Systems: Confidence using business systems and technology to manage records, coordinate workflows, generate reports and support governance processes
