As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality mental health services by undertaking quality assessments and treatments. You will provide specialist support to consumers and their families, promote community awareness, and collaborate with other agencies.
* You will be responsible for delivering quality care to consumers based on best practice principles and within a collaborative framework.
* You will undertake specialist assessments and treatments to consumers and their families or carers.
* You will promote community awareness and act as a consultant to other agencies regarding consumer support and management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A strong understanding of current and contemporary social work practices, including client-centred approaches and clinical management of complex care needs.
* The ability to exercise professional judgement, initiative, and supervision.
* Effective time-management skills and prioritisation to manage a busy workload while maintaining high standards of consumer care.
Essential Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification or program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Certification of eligibility for overseas qualified Social Work candidates
* NDIS Q&S Commission Provider Registration Requirements where applicable
* Full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
Desirable Criteria:
* A current Driver's Licence
