Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, we manage national transport, warehouse operations, and import/export activity.

About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Logistics Planner who shares our passion for food, customer outcomes and working with people.
This role is based out of our Richmond head office, with options at our Truganina site, and flexible working available.
Our Logistics Planning team collaborate closely with our operational staff, external transport companies, customer service and account teams to effectively manage our transport & service delivery scheduling for our Australian business.
Manage the movement thousands of pallets each day from factory to DC, DC to customer, and export.
You pay high attention to detail and have great organisational and time management skills.
You are proficient with the Microsoft suite of software and ideally have experience using SAP.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the activities of 3rdParty Carriers & transport providers responsible for transportation and delivery
Optimise logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, warehousing, customer service and sales, to ensure seamless operations and on time delivery
Analyse logistics data and provide insights to improve operational performance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted transport operators and internal stakeholders to ensure high service standards
Are you the one?
We are looking for candidates that have backgrounds in road and multi-modal transport planning/operations or subcontractor management.
You can also demonstrate:
3 years + in a similar role or within palletised FMCG supply chain operations
Proven experience in logistics planning and management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and manage subcontractor relationships
Experience in SAP, TMS and Safety Management systems
Working understanding of chain of responsibility (COR)
Well organised and able to manage short lead times and re-prioritise workloads
