Due to continual growth, we are seeking experienced Concreters, Bricklayers, Plasterers, Tilers, Painters, and Carpenters to deliver training to students.THESE ROLES ARE VERY FLEXIBLE - Part-time and Full-time Available.The role involves:Working with apprentices/trainees to improve their skills and knowledge.Tutoring apprentices in theoretical work.Maintaining currency of all training and assessment materials.Marketing the RTO to potential clients and organizing training programs.Handling paperwork related to training and assessments.Providing practical training on various topics.Developing new training and assessment resources.Performing RPL assessments.Entry RequirementsApplicants should demonstrate trade knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, honesty, and the ability to follow procedures, which are crucial for success.Applicants must:Hold relevant trade qualifications or be able to upgrade immediately.Be prepared to obtain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment if not already held.Maintain current industry skills and experience.Possess a current White Card.Be willing to maintain currency of skills.Hold a blue card or be eligible to obtain one.Have a valid Driver’s Licence.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Possess good mathematical skills related to the trade.Be physically capable of practical demonstrations and site access.Be organized and able to manage apprentices.Undergo a National Police Check upon onboarding.Additional preferred qualifications include:Current industry contractor's licence or evidence of operating as a contractor.Previous experience as a trainer.Multiple trade qualifications or advanced construction sector qualifications.A confident, calm, and patient demeanor with an outgoing personality.Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.This is a Travel Heavy role: The successful candidate will work on building sites across Central Queensland and surrounding areas, including Townsville, Cairns, Esk, Longreach, and Gladstone, primarily via car.Building Industry Training Pty Ltd offers:Training and ongoing support from experienced professionals.Opportunities for growth and development.Long-term stability with ongoing contracts and industry relationships.A base wage plus performance-based bonuses.Fully maintained company vehicle, phone, computer, uniform, and tools.A positive team environment and flexible working arrangements.We appreciate your effort in applying.
