Job Opportunity: Injury Management Specialist
About the Role
* Develop and implement end-to-end return-to-work (RTW) plans across multiple jurisdictions.
* Engage with treating practitioners, insurers, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful RTW outcomes.
* Provide expert guidance and coaching to RTW Coordinators in the organisation.
* Identify and address barriers to effective RTW outcomes.
* Lead case conferences and support workers through recovery and reintegration.
* Maintain compliance with relevant workers' compensation legislation.
* Contribute to injury management policy development and system improvements.
* Deliver training programs to enhance capability in RTW best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in occupational health and wellbeing, with expertise in managing complex RTW cases. They should have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or a related allied health field is essential.
