The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team on a part‑time basis. You will be involved in a wide range of clinical nursing duties, supporting both patients and the wider practice team.
Hours
* 3 days per week (27 hours)
* Monday: 08:30–18:30
* Tuesday: 08:30–18:30
* Plus one Saturday per month: 09:00–12:00
Responsibilities
* Childhood immunisations
* Travel risk assessments, immunisations and advice
* Venepuncture and cytology sampling
* Wound care and dressing changes, removal of sutures
* Chronic disease management following protocols (including asthma, coronary heart disease support and peak‑flow monitoring)
* Performing ECGs
* Health promotion and lifestyle advice
* Contraception advice under protocol
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a nursing team
* Qualified Registered Nurse
* Experience using Systmone
