About Us
We design and manufacture eye-catching displays and signage that demand quality, innovation, and precision. From concept to completion, everything happens in-house — and we're proud of the craftsmanship that leaves our factory.
We're on the hunt for an experienced, hands-on Factory Foreman who knows their way around a workshop, can lead from the front, and enjoys keeping production running smoothly (even when things get busy).
You must have the ability to multitask, adhere to processes/procedures, and still be hands-on when required.
Our Culture is very important to us:
Our number one priority is a positive, respectful attitude. We value staff who are calm under pressure, supportive of their team mates, and contribute to a healthy workplace culture.
The Role
This is a leadership role with your boots firmly on the factory floor. Well suited to a practical leader who takes pride in craftsmanship, solves problems fast, and creates a positive, high-performing workplace every day.
You will be responsible for overseeing our end-to-end manufacturing operations, making sure jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard .
What you'll be doing:
* Run the Floor – Manage daily production across signage and display projects, keeping timelines, quality, and budgets on track.
* Keep Things Moving – Review staff workflows, improve efficiencies (keep the team and factory humming) and streamline processes wherever possible.
* Resource Control – Manage materials, inventory, supplies, and equipment.
* Rostering & Scheduling – Coordinate staff rosters and assist with daily schedules to meet production demands.
* Deadline Driven – Prioritise tasks with floor staff to consistently hit delivery deadlines.
* Lead the Team – Motivate, support, and manage production staff, building a strong team culture.
* Quality Champion – Ensure every product leaving the factory meets our standards (and our clients' expectations).
* Problem Solver – Troubleshoot issues quickly and find practical solutions when challenges arise.
* Hands-On Support – Jump in on the floor when needed — leading by example is part of the job.
This role is Monday to Friday with Saturday's required when busy.
There may be weekdays when additional hours are required beyond a standard working week to support the team during peak periods.
About You
You're a natural leader who's just as comfortable managing people as you are working with materials and machinery.
You'll bring:
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes.
* Confident leadership and communication skills — you can talk to designers, suppliers, and staff with ease
* A genuine \"people person\" approach — you know how to build trust, rapport, and team morale
* Basic Computer Skills – Need to be familiar with the Microsoft Suite ie. Outlook/Excel/Word.
What You'll Need
* Demonstrated experience managing a manufacturing floor and leading production staff
* A minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing floor management experience is required
* A proven ability to meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards
* Experience implementing efficient manufacturing processes and best practices
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train, mentor, and develop staff
* Australian work rights are required for this position
Industry experience required:
You must have experience in at least one of the following:
* Joinery
* 3D Signage
* Metal Fabrication
* Display Fabrication
Candidates with experience across multiple industries (joinery, signage, fabrication) will be preferred over those with single-industry experience.
If you're looking for a role where your leadership, experience, and hands-on skills actually make a difference — and where no two days are the same — this could be the role for you.
Please note: Candidates not currently living in Melbourne need not apply
