We are seeking a qualified and experienced Stock Logistics Assistant to join the finance team at Joondalup Resort on a full-time basis.
Salary range: $60, $65,0000.00
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase requests and orders received from department heads
* Liaise with local suppliers regarding order status, delivery requirements, and documentation
* Track pending, delayed, and back orders and provide timely updates to departments
* Receive deliveries at the loading dock and verify items against delivery documentation
* Report discrepancies or delivery issues promptly
* Distribute stock accurately and efficiently to the correct departments
* Assist with inter-department stock transfers and maintain movement records
* Coordinate stock allocation for functions as discussed in BEO meetings
* Collect, organise, and submit invoices accurately to the Finance Department
* Enter inventory invoices and stock information into the system when required
* Support monthly stocktakes, including counting and reconciliation assistance
* Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-efficient arrivals
* Communicate expected delivery dates and revised timeframes to departments
* Prioritise urgent or high-volume orders during peak operational periods
* Maintain the loading dock, receiving area, and storerooms in line with OH&S standards
* Ensure safe storage of goods and compliance with workplace safety procedures
* Provide general operational support related to stock movement and events
Position requirements
* Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role required
* Demonstrated knowledge of systems and software
* Strong organisational skills
* Clear and effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments
* Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock
* The position requires availability Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
