The Role
This position will work as part of a team to deliver the Victorian Government Redress for people who experienced abuse and neglect in historic institutional settings prior to 1990 (Redress for Historical Institutional Abuse, or Redress).
It commenced on 10 December 2024 and is expected to run for 18 months.
Working closely with other Victorian Redress teams, the Strategy, Policy and Infrastructure team will provide policy analysis, advice, briefings, reports, and conduct research to inform the design, implementation, and delivery of the Redress model endorsed by the Government.
This role involves project management activities, delivering financial and administrative functions to support the Victorian Redress program's implementation and delivery.
It also includes developing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery on time and within budget.
The position requires working with stakeholders including Victorian Government departments, jurisdictions, and individuals who have experienced institutional child abuse and neglect.

Suitable candidates should be resilient and empathetic, with experience in managing such material.
Accountabilities
Develop and maintain project plans, including risk management strategies.
Prepare briefs and reports on complex issues with decision-making options.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with legislative and departmental policies.
