We are Australian family‐owned, Melbourne‐based and have been delivering fire protection across design, construction and service for over 20 years. Our team of 120+ professionals works on high‐profile projects such as the West Gate Tunnel and Melbourne Metro Rail.
We are searching for a multi‐skilled, lateral‐thinking Fire Systems Design Drafter to join our team. The role offers varied work across government, industrial, commercial and residential sectors – from major rail infrastructure to luxury apartments – and rewards creative, outside‐the‐box problem‐solving.
Basic Scope of Role
* Engage in engineering design and documentation for fire protection projects.
* Assist in the design of fire services, including calculations, pipe sizing and specification preparation.
* Conduct quality assurance reviews on engineering design documentation.
* Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and interdisciplinary team members.
* Leverage creative thinking and strong relationships across all internal divisions nationally.

Skills and Experience Required
* Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* At least 3 years' experience as a fire protection services designer or drafter.
* Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes.
* Team player willing to work collaboratively.
* Enthusiastic, positive attitude and passion to learn.
* Eye for detail and accuracy.
