About Direct Care Resources
With over 25 years of industry experience, Direct Care Resources is a trusted care provider in South‑East Queensland. We prioritise participant health, safety, and well‑being, specialising in providing support in SIL houses and Child Protection Services.
Key Responsibilities
* Support throughout the day‑to‑day living including but not limited to housekeeping, cooking, grocery shopping, personal care, and hygiene
* Community access and transportation
* Accurate and reliable completion of mandatory shift notes and incident reports as per industry standards
* High‑level attention and understanding of medication administration as directed by policy and client care plans
About you
* Confident and able to stand your ground and set boundaries
* Proactive, able to think on your feet when under pressure
* Good written and verbal communication, able to communicate to the team to pass on feedback and participant updates

Your Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Blue Card (paid)
* Child Safety division - do you have an LCS2 or are willing to obtain it
* Full Australian Driver's Licence
* Completed or enrolled in Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent industry experience (preferred but not essential)
* Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Capacity to work flexible hours on a rotating roster across weekdays, weekends, public holidays – morning, afternoon and evening availability required
