Nonna's Cucina is a not-for-profit charity organisation providing home-style cooked meals to the aged and vulnerable community in South Australia.
Nonna's Cucina is looking to add new members to our team in the following roles: Barista/Wait Staff. In each of these roles, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our brand new cafe runs efficiently and effectively.
All jobs will begin on a Casual contract with prospect for Part-time or Full-time work in the future.
Responsibilities include:
- Craft a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standards
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide an exceptional guest experience
- Use and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Wait tables, collect and clean dirty dishes
- Process payments through cash registers and POS systems
Requirements:
- 6-12 months Barista or Cafe work experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- National Police Clearance
Nonna's Cucina is looking for someone that:
- Can work in a team and independently
- Has a strong work ethic
- Is punctual
Availability
Monday to Saturday 6:30am to 4pm, with some out of hours functions.
