Role Summary
This role involves delivering psychological and neuropsychological services in outpatient clinics with a focus on harm minimisation, collaboration with Addiction Medicine specialists, and involvement in Neurodiversity and ADHD clinics. The successful applicant will contribute to clinical outcome evaluations, education and training programs, and provide professional supervision as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver psychological and neuropsychological assessments, case formulation, and interventions for adults and adolescents with severe mental illness, drug/alcohol concerns, and/or neurodivergent disorders.
* Collaborate with Addiction Medicine specialists and drug and alcohol clinicians to provide integrated, evidence-based services.
* Contribute to Neurodiversity and ADHD clinics; support clinical outcome evaluations.
* Assist in education and training programs and provide professional supervision.
* Maintain high standards of professional conduct and documentation, including clinical reports and correspondence.
* Liaise with internal and external agencies and departments as required.
* Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritisation, and time management skills in a busy clinical environment.
* Hold a current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Postgraduate degree in clinical, forensic, or clinical neuropsychology (Masters or Doctorate/PhD) and full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with endorsement (or working towards) in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or Clinical Neuropsychology.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in psychological assessment, case formulation, and intervention for adults and adolescents with relevant needs.
* Awareness of current scientific literature on psychological services for adults and adolescents with severe mental illness, drug/alcohol concerns, and/or neurodivergent disorders.
* Experience conducting research or quality improvement projects, including data analysis and program evaluation.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and clinical correspondence.
* Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external agencies and departments.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills in a clinical setting.
* Current Driver's License and willingness to use for work travel.
