Senior Network Engineer Role Description
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions that align with our requirements and technology strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
* Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our organization.
* Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
* Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation of network designs, including diagrams and configuration details.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that network security measures are integrated into all aspects of the network design.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Familiarity with software-defined networking technologies.
* Experience with network management systems, including Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos.
* Knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall technologies, including layer 2 and layer 3 protocols.
* Relevant certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
