Overview
Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager at our Capalaba site. In this standalone, hands‐on quality role, you will play a key role in driving food safety and quality culture across the site. Reporting to the Regional Quality & Compliance Manager, you'll provide leadership, coaching and compliance oversight for the site Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to national standards and customer requirements.
Purpose of the Role
* Lead and coach the site team to embed a strong food safety and quality culture
* Oversee compliance with GFSI, HACCP, FSANZ and customer quality standards
* Manage internal audits, certification processes and non‐conformance close‐outs
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including GMP and QA strategies
* Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to achieve key milestones
* Provide technical guidance and training on food safety and quality standards
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent
* Strong experience in food manufacturing and quality systems
* Knowledge of audit processes, HACCP, and QMS reporting
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail
