Inventory Controller – Yennora, NSW The Opportunity Due to internal movements, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Retail & Consumer division managing our key customer Optus, based in Yennora NSW. The role of the Inventory Controller is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise inventory activity in Yennora Optus to achieve service objectives, ensuring that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner, in line with agreed standards in operational procedures, national strategy and in a manner always ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance. As the Inventory Controller, you will: Plan and coordinate activities day-to-day/month-to-month to achieve results and standards expected and ensure available resources are used effectively across teams. Take initiative to identify growth opportunities and innovative new ways of doing business. Provide direct leadership to effectively deploy innovative practices and technologies leading to significant growth in business. Ensure systems are used and people trained to achieve the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Contribute to improvement of systems, processes and standards, and to sustainability in safety and environmental performance. About you To be successful in this role, you will need: Understanding of the concept of providing a service to a client, in a third party contracted logistics environment Proven capability managing complex inventories across multiple sites Experience in the Network Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Energy, & Heavy industry highly regarded Systems experience such as CAD, WMS, Blue Yonder & SAP highly advantageous Forklift License mandatory What moves you?
