We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high‑purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stores Person to support day‑to‑day warehouse operations at our Mardie site. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the coordination, supply, and receipt of tooling, consumables, materials, and equipment, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with statutory requirements, Health and Safety regulations, and BCI policies and procedures.
Key duties include loading and unloading deliveries, securely packaging goods, operating forklifts to move and relocate stock, and maintaining accurate inventory through receipting, data entry, and stock checks. You will also process picking slips and invoices, contribute to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, and collaborate closely with team members to ensure operational efficiency. We're looking for someone who aligns with the BCI Code of Conduct and Values, demonstrates respectful behaviours, and is committed to supporting the wider team in achieving business goals.
About You
We're seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Stores Person with a strong background in warehouse operations, ideally within a site‑based environment. We're looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative, as this role will support the operations team during their downtime by identifying and assisting with additional tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Mandatory Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Stores Person, preferably on remote or construction sites
* A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* A current Telehandler ticket with demonstrated hands‑on experience
* Proficiency using Pronto for inventory and warehouse management
* High attention to safety, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and apply effective controls
* A current and unrestricted WA HR driver's licence
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate II in Warehousing and Storage
* Experience operating and maintaining 4WD vehicles
* Current LF High Risk Work Licence (forklift)
* Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 3 months.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
