Our client is a brand with a strong presence across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. They are known for their commitment to quality, safety, and customer service. Due to continued operational growth, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their Adelaide operations. This is a key leadership position with high visibility across the wider business.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Leading the warehouse team across multiple shifts, ensuring high levels of engagement, capability, and performance aligned to company values.
Overseeing all site safety requirements, ensuring safe working practices are embedded, documented, and followed by employees, contractors, and transport partners.
Maintaining site compliance with relevant quality and operational standards, including staff training and ensuring external partners adhere to required protocols.
Managing day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, stock movement, order processing, dispatch, storage efficiency, and accuracy of documentation.
Coordinating inbound and outbound transport, including scheduling deliveries, consolidations, and general freight activities.
Ensuring any customer-related issues are investigated and resolved promptly, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and prevent recurrence.
Supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and logistics to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen team capability.
Working closely with planning and production teams to execute daily operational requirements and support inventory availability.
Contributing to cost tracking and site reporting, providing insights to senior management on warehousing performance and operational outcomes.
Coaching, supporting, and developing warehouse staff, including new starter training, upskilling, and maintaining a positive, performance-driven culture.
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
3+ years' experience in warehouse or distribution leadership within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or a related environment.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and fostering a supportive, accountable workplace.
A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience improving warehouse processes, workflows, or systems.
Strong attention to detail with sound analytical and reporting capability.
Confidence navigating warehouse or ERP systems (any system experience welcome).
Ability to collaborate effectively with production, planning, operations, and customer service teams.
